Our 1st establishment in Sher-e-Bangla city is The Bengal Agriculture Institute. It was founded in 1938 by AK Fazlul Haque of Sher-e-Bangla. Later it was named Agriculture College, Agriculture Institute and finally in 2001 it was named Sherebangla Agriculture University.
